Kūhiō School Snack & Meal Guidelines
Healthy Snacks & Drinks: Students are welcome to bring snacks and drinks from home for recess, and we strongly encourage healthy choices. Items such as chips and cookies may only be eaten after students finish their main lunch meal.
No Sharing Food: To protect student health and manage dietary restrictions, students are NOT PERMITTED TO SHARE snacks or lunches.
Kūhiō is a NUT-FREE School
NUT-FREE Campus: Kūhiō School is a nut-free campus due to severe, potentially life-threatening allergies. Please do not send any items containing nuts or peanut butter (including peanut butter sandwiches and nut-based snacks) to school.
Celebrations & Holidays: In alignment with our Wellness Policy, any treats brought for special events must be nut-free, individually wrapped, and ideally healthy.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy and safe!
